General Surgery is a specialty that focuses on the abdomen and its contents including breast, skin, soft tissue, head and neck, vascular systems and endocrine systems.

We strive to use minimally invasive techniques whenever possible, which includes utilizing the da Vinci® Robotic Surgical System.

This technology allows Brian Reed to operate with greater precision, smaller or fewer incisions that decreases patient discomfort, lowers risk of infection and complications, decrease downtime post surgery and allows for quicker healing.

Dr. Brian Reed has specific training and knowledge of patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Laparoscopic Surgery

Laparoscopic surgery is an advanced surgical technique that allows a surgeon to operate through a few tiny incisions, sometimes as small as a few millimeters. They are able to view the inside of a patient using a microscopic camera that is placed in the body through a thin flexible tube called a laparoscope.

Robotic Surgery

The da Vinci® Surgical System is designed to provide surgeons with enhanced capabilities, including high-definition 3D vision and a magnified view. Dr. Reed controls the da Vinci® System, which translates his hand movements into smaller, more precise movements of the tiny surgical instruments.
