Laparoscopic Surgery

Laparoscopic surgery is an advanced surgical technique that allows a surgeon to operate through a few tiny incisions, sometimes as small as a few millimeters.

Dr. Reed is able to view the inside of a patient using a microscopic camera that is placed in the body through a thin flexible tube called a laparoscope. Images from the camera are projected onto screens in the operating room and using specialized instruments, Dr. Reed completes the procedure without making a traditional large incision.

Dr. Brian Reed has specific training and knowledge of patient care before, during, and after surgery.
